Solitary Invasion
Amity was what they sought and fought for. Sora retreated from the plain of blood-shedding battlefield to the nearest cave. He was still shivering due to the unspeakable amount of enemies who he had fought during his last encounter with the Heartless. He succumbed to the pains that were choking him throughout his day. Limped, he made his way by dragging his already wounded limb. He placed his Keyblade next to his sheath on the mushy ground and he rested his worn body. Aching and at the same time, more ache seeped and conquered his senses. His eyes were bleak but blurred due to the misty rain that was perpetually pelting outside. The cave mouth seemed to whisper a mellowing song that soon drifted our dear Sora to his own dream land.

He was wondering with no clear purpose. Deluded and déjà vu was the most appropriate word to describe his current feeling. He was standing alone; bare footed, in front of the cove, amid the lapis lazuli sea water that was lapping concurrently with white flapping sea gulls flew by with not much of dissonance. He was not trying to extol anything but this place was the same Shangri-La that he had shared with his two best friends as well as with the companies of animated creatures that fairly were another fantasy living things whom were granted with chances of living. His head ached as his encephalon tried to recapture and regurgitated his past. He held his head and cried in pain.

He looked around to seek for answers. Who was he? And why was he chosen as the new bearer of the elusive Keyblade? What was with the entire ruckus? Where were Kairi and Riku? He yearned for them. He wanted to meet them. How intense his feelings was. His toe circulated the sandy golden beach lethargically. He then trudged along the shore, wielding his heavy Keyblade around. It was his only left friend. He was lonely and he longed for a real human company. The last person whom he would considered as a human companion was Sephiroth. He was a sicko sometimes. He kept on preaching him with his weird ideologies of what he called as Roxasism. He never bothered to talk anything that was ravaging the world. What he cared was that he wanted to construct a kingdom known as Kingdom Heart.

He was forced to kill as many Heartless that he could so that Sephiroth’s idea could be visualised. He once stood up and challenged Sephiroth for a battle, to earn his freedom but he was bound to defeat with much embarrassment. He was too weak even to put a mote of dust on Sephiroth’s armour. How can he escape his evil wrath? He could never defeat him with this amount of energy and abilities. He should travel and learn more. More knowledge should be dug. He once heard the legend of a sole survivor of Sephiroth’s evil Dynasty. He was a fighter; a warrior who owned a double-edged sword whom fell in love with beautiful Lady Aerith. His name was Cloud, Cloud Strife. He was hiding somewhere deep in the Pumpkin Forest, near to Twilight Borough. He will go there, he insisted himself.

Wind stroke swiftly against his dark strain of hair. He nestled himself against the fallen coconut tree and indulged the sea water flavoured ice lollies that he got from a mysterious casket. It was his favourite ice-cream. He could still remember all the times that he used to spend with Kairi and Riku where they would playfully play near the beach. They will eat the popular Papua fruit, which they could find in abundant with multitudes of vibrant colour. Once in a while, King Mickey would come with his loyal servants, Sir Donald and Sir Goofy with a big familiar casket containing numerous number of sea water flavoured ice lollies. He felt the pang when it was hurting to learn that that was the past. He could never return to them. He was a treacherous murder and a villain whom had killed noble Ansem. Tears running down his cheeks to form two small streams of warm water.

He was awoken by a loud screeching noise. His eyes slowly opened to illuminate the dim light. He was curious but at the same time confused with the arrival of unknown figures. He fetched his Keyblade and thrust himself upwards with such energy. His eyes were locked on the figures. He took his last bottle of potion and drank to gain back his drained energy. Slowly but effectively, his used to be nullified limb, recovered and stitched themselves back to normality. He could only count on his luck. Zack, his ardent ally was nowhere to be seen since his retreat. Sweat was smearing on his forehead, instead of anxious of his life; he was worried of Zack in lieu.

The figures starting to make a little move forward. He prepared himself for the battle and shone his Keyblade and hymned a forbidden mantra. Blue orbs were covering his small fragile body and deflected every foreign particle that tried to touch him. They worked like a shield but at the same time could provide sudden fatality to his enemies. He learned this secret technique from his late master, Master Soki whom was silted deep across his stomach as he was trying to rescue Sora from Sephiroth tyranny wicked grip. The figures slashed their sharp weapons through the thick air.

One of them managed to tag Sora’s orbs and bounced him backwards. He did not seem to be affected and he recoiled with much aggressive moves. Now, he was pelted with taunting melee attacks. Sora could not budge them. He withdrew his Keyblade and affixed it with an insignia that resembled King Mickey’s Sovereign and his Keyblade twirled and produces a loud bang. The enemies fell down to their knees. Sora casted a spell and the Keyblade turned itself into a more vicious looking razor, known as Oblivion. His eyes flickered and he was now somebody else.

Something that laid deep down six feet under in himself had evoked. It hatched and released a wild beast which was now hunger for blood and thirst for killings. He scythed his enemies swiftly with aversion and hysterically enjoying the dead cries of the enemies. The cave that used to be soundless were now filled with pleas.

Not far from the cave, Sephiroth smiled as his secret weapon had finally awoken from his deep slumber. Satisfied, he laughed maniacally.
